La Seda de Barcelona’s pet sales increase by 30.8%
La Seda de Barcelona registered a sales volume of 45,000 tonnes of PET resin in the month of June, a 30.8% increase compared to the figures achieved in the same period of 2009.
It’s the highest turnover achieved in the last 16 months and the highest annual growth rate so far this year.
In the second quarter of 2010, 123,100m tonnes have been sold, which is 14.4% more than in the same quarter of last year and 38.7% more than during the first three months of 2010.
This growth, which has exceeded all commercial expectations of the company, is due to the progressively normal production activity of the last two months.
