The annual gala recognises companies and individuals for their work with the Rainforest Alliance on making sustainable supply chain decisions or for their long-time support of conservation work.
“The honourees we’ve selected have made solid commitments that benefit ecosystems, workers and wildlife worldwide,” said Tensie Whelan, president of the Rainforest Alliance, who was named one of the 100 most influential people in business ethics for the second year in a row by Ethisphere magazine. “By making sustainability a priority in their business decisions, they demonstrate its importance, not only for the longevity of their businesses, but also for the well-being of the entire planet.”
