The celebratory designs, available on Jim Beam Bourbon & Cola 330ml, use Rexam’s Editions technology, allowing multiple designs of the same label to be printed simultaneously on one pallet.
Targeting football fans and capitalising on the passion for their national team, the cans show silhouette images of four German football players along with common German football phrases.
“We chose to work with Rexam because of its unique Editions technology, making our vision of four different can designs possible,” said Beam Deutschland marketing director Sabine Milewski. “The World Cup is a huge occasion and we’re delighted to be part of it with such an innovative can.”
The cans are available to consumers in Germany, stocked across all major German retailers. The launch is supported by a wider marketing campaign, including POS activation.
