Lipton Ice Tea has a new label, summer print advertising campaign and ‘gift with purchase’ promotion. The activation has been introduced to ensure that the brand is ‘more engaging and more exciting’ to its core target audience of 18-24-year-olds.
Great Britain marketing director Jonathan Gatward said: “Lipton Ice Tea continues to go from strength to strength and we’re confident we have a brand that can drive incremental sales in the soft drinks category. The new design, summer marketing and ‘gift with purchase’ activity will help drive the conversion to purchase in-store. The POS is disruptive and we know that our audience love a fashionable freebie following similar activation in previous years.”
The rebranded Lipton Ice Tea is available in 500ml PET format and comes in four flavours: with Lemon, with Peach, with Mango, and Green Tea with Lemon. RRP is £1.13.
