Lipton launches Lipton Clear Green in Saudi Arabia

Pepsi Lipton International, the company representing the joint venture between PepsiCo and Unilever, has launched a new range of ready-to-drink tea in the Saudi market – Lipton Clear Green.
Announcing the launch, Ahmed Zakaria, marketing manager at PepsiCo International, said: “Lipton Clear Green in cold format is aimed at the Kingdom’s youth who want an instantly refreshing drink that combines the benefits of natural green tea with their favourite delicious flavours to add zest to their lifestyles.”
He went on to say, “Green tea is known by its light, refreshing taste and multiple benefits, which Lipton Clear Green provides in a delicious drink that refreshes you so that you feel renewed throughout your day.
“Green tea is a natural source of flavonoids and antioxidants, and studies have shown that, among other benefits, drinking green tea can help in purifying the body, reduce blood pressure and improve the skin health.
“Coming from PepsiCo and Unilever, Lipton Clear Green hits the market just in time to provide cooling summer refreshment and is expected to be well established as a popular favourite during Ramadan, which this year starts in the hottest month of August.”
Lipton Clear Green is available in two flavours: mint lemon and honey lemon, and is packed in 35cl full-sleeve PET bottles. Lipton Clear Green is already available in Germany and Holland.
