The London Crisp Co has expanded its range of products to include four new varieties of popcorn.
The new variants include lightly salted, sweet and salt, sour cream and black pepper, and caramel and espresso. All four are packaged in distinctive 30g bags, which depict busy city characters with animals’ heads. Each pack contains between 63 and 73 calories and are made in London.
The popcorn will be available in Tesco stores in the UK, initially as part of the retailer’s meal deal, and will retail from October with a recommended price of £0.65 each.
The launch represents a side-step for the British brand, which has until now concentrated on producing hand-cooked crisps.
The brand’s range of crisps include flavours such as Shoreditch-inspired cheese and onion, Greenwich-inspired prawn cocktail, Soho sea salt, Camden sweet chilli, and South Bank-inspired salt and vinegar.
