Founded in 1877 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the midst of the great wines of Burgundy, the house of Louis Bouillot had the audacity to produce sparkling wines. Since then, it has become a past master in the production of Crémants de Bourgogne.
Perle d’Aurore is available in magnums or green bottles, like all grandes cuvées. Its delicate pale pink colour with fine bubbles will first appeal to the eye. Then the summery bouquet with notes of red fruit carries over into a delightfully fruity mouthful, which is a pure pleasure to savour in the depths of the wintery weather.
This cuvée is composed of elegant, complex and structured Pinot Noir, softened by the open and exuberant influence of the accompanying Gamay, with its aromatic opulence. A touch of Chardonnay lends finesse to the blend.
Served chilled at 8°C, Perle d’Aurore is a seductive companion for elegant aperitifs or more intimate occasions, for which it makes an ideal prelude.
Unique in Burgundy, the Maison Louis Bouillot produces a collection of 12 Crémants de Bourgogne, which each have their own velvety expression of the fruit.
