Massmart considers investment in Kenya

JSE-listed retailer Massmart has be in talks about entering Kenya, a senior executive has confirmed, the latest step by the unit of Walmart to expand its presence in Africa.

Massmart executive for corporate affairs Brian Leroni said: “We are in advanced discussions to open a Game store in Nairobi.”

Massmart currently has about 36 stores outside of South Africa, many of which are Game discount retail stores.
