Mini-Mix to launch at ice cream exhibition

Filed by Shaun Weston

Ice cream equipment specialist Alfred & Co will launch The Alfred’s Mini-Mix at this year’s Ice Cream Alliance Exhibition in November.

The company, which is the sole UK distributor for many leading OEMs, will also preview new equipment from Technogel and Niro Soavi.

Alfreds has over 70 years’ experience of supplying ice cream producers the world over with new and reconditioned machines. Its latest UK-built unit has been designed to meet a gap in the market.

The Alfred’s Mini-Mix is aimed at small-scale manufacturers who want to step up from their entry level equipment.

Alfred & Co MD, Phil Doxey, said: “The healthy market for innovative and luxury ice cream is creating opportunities for many smaller manufacturers, most notably farms. We identified a gap in the market for a small, user-friendly unit capable of batch mixing and pasteurising 300-litre batches. The Mini-Mix offers a cost-effective and reliable solution for small-scale producers wishing to ramp up quantities without a sizeable capital investment.”
