Müller agrees to acquire UK production facility

Müller is to acquire the production facility in Minsterley, Shropshire (UK) which makes the Cadbury chilled desserts, including Cadbury Mousse, Trifle and twin-pot products, which Müller sells under licence from Cadbury.

Müller PepsiCo and Müller yogurt joint venture in New York state takes ownership of the facility from the start of January 2013 in a move which also sees the end of its co-packing agreement with current owners Uniq, part of the Greencore Group.

Heiner Kamps, CEO of Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller said: “The acquisition is in line with our strategy to internationally acquire profitable companies in markets where we already are a successful player.”
