Morrisons recalls mackerel due to processing error

Morrisons is recalling all batches of certain smoked mackerel fillet products. Due to a processing error, some may be undercooked. If you have bought any of the products don’t eat them, The Food Standards Agency has warned.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued a Product Recall Information Notice.

All date codes of the following products are being recalled:

  • Morrisons Smoked Mackerel fillets (tray pack)
  • Morrisons Smoked Mackerel fillets with lemon and parsley (tray pack)
  • Morrisons Smoked Peppered Mackerel fillets (tray pack)
  • Morrisons Mexicana Smoked Mackerel fillets (tray pack)
  • Morrisons Smoked Scottish Mackerel (vacuum pack),
  • Morrisons has recalled the affected products. Customer notices have been displayed in stores, explaining why the products have been recalled.

No other Morrisons products are known to be affected.
