M&S credits ‘return to quality’ for improved results

In Marks & Spencer’s latest financial results, chief executive Marc Bolland attributes a rise in like-for-like sales to “customers returning to quality”.
“Marks & Spencer has had a good second quarter, growing market share across all parts of the business,” said Bolland. “Customers are returning to quality. In food, they’re responding well to our better value and innovation, and in clothing are increasingly choosing M&S’s great fashions and quality that lasts.”
