Premium soft drink brand Zeo has added a new cloudy lemon variety to its existing four-strong flavour portfolio.
Launching this month in supermarket chain Tesco, the new cloudy lemon variant is described by the brand as having “a clean, tangy lemon kick, blending the flesh of the succulent fruit with essential oils from the skin”. Available in 750ml bottles with a recommended retail price of £2.49, the latest addition joins the existing four flavours and contributes to Zeo’s continued challenge to change the shape of the soft drinks sector.
The refreshingly crisp flavour has been developed at Zeo’s flavour house in the Netherlands, designed to deliver the perfect low-sugar, crisp, dry and ultimately great-tasting soft drink, the brand said in a statement.
Its introduction follows six months after the relaunch of the Zeo brand and not long since the launch of a can format for the convenience sector.
Zeo marketing director Ian Greengrass said: “The soft drinks market is changing. People are demanding great tasting products that don’t carry health warnings. For too long, high sugar soft drinks have dominated the sector. We are proud to be offering consumers natural alternatives, but are mindful of the need to constantly excite and innovate when it comes to flavour offerings. We are certain that our new cloudy lemon variant will be a welcome addition to Zeo’s existing range.”
