Nestlé opens factory in Angola

Nestlé has opened a CHF 16m factory in Luanda, Angola. It's the second factory site the company has inaugurated on the continent this week, following the opening of two new manufacturing units in South Africa.

The factory in Angola is Nestlé's first in the country. Located in Luanda, it's a 'finishing centre' for packing products such as Nido milk powder.

It will create 50 new jobs by the end of its first year of operations, with local people being recruited for the majority of positions.
