Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) has developed a new app for smartphones and tablets which enables every registered customer throughout Australia to order the food and beverage company's range of products and services.
The myCCA on the move app, which won the 2011 Australian Mobile Line of Business Award, was launched into the Android market in March, and can now be downloaded free from Google Play for all Android technology.
The myCCA on the move app can also be downloaded free for iPhones and iPads from the App Store. All CCA's registered customers can now manage their ordering in their own time, wherever they are located, and based on their own preferences.
The app is an alternative to CCA's traditional sales representative and customer centre channels, enabling more choice and flexibility for customers.
The myCCA on the move app has a number of features including the 'Smart Order' tool which allows customers to quickly access their recent order history and easily place a new order.
Another feature is 'Store Specials' which offers customers personalised deals and promotions. These specials are based on each individual customer's profile, local sales data and order quantity, all of which is calculated in real time.
The app also has an inbuilt barcode scanner that allows customers to scan products and add them directly into their shopping cart.
