Catering equipment provider Pantheon has released a new and improved planetary mixer, which features enhanced durability and user friendliness.
The company’s PM10 mixer features a body made from highly resilient, rust-proof metal to eliminate the possibility of problems arising out of the inherent humidity of catering kitchens. The machine’s painted finish is also heat-cured for maximum wearability, Pantheon said.
The upgraded model features a stainless steel handle, whisky and heavy dute, 10 litre mixing bowl. The beater and dough hook are fabricated from high grade aluminium. Other improvements include changing the micro switch to a heavy duty, metal roller type with a stainless steel connector and further reinforcing the fascia panel’s durability so that it will withstand the heaviest use.
The versatile machine is powered by a robust 0.5 kW motor while the hard-wearing, all gear-driven transmission ensures smooth and frictionless operation across three different speed settings.
An alternative version, the PM10-MC, which incorporates a mincer and shredding attachment, is also available. The mixers measure 48.5cm wide, 63.5cm tall and 41cm in depth, and weigh 75kg. They will be made available from a approved dealers throughout the UK.
