Plastek wins award from Unilever
The Plastek Group has picked up the ‘Winning through Business Integration’ award from Unilever.
Plastek piloted the introduction of a Total Productive Manufacturing programme at Plastek’s main supplying site to Unilever, delivering 10% efficiency improvements. This has resulted in higher and more profitable asset utilisation by Plastek and higher volumes for Unilever.
This programme is now being rolled out to other Plastek factories.
The ‘Winning through Business Integration’ award recognises suppliers that have displayed extraordinary achievement when integrating their operations with those of Unilever.
