Saddle Black is made using smoked, chocolate and black malts and can be paired with a variety of hard cheeses and rich puddings.
“As a keen cyclist, I wanted to create a beer dedicated to the British cycling community and as a celebration of the craft that goes into making beer and bicycles,” said Purity Brewing Co MD Paul Halsey.
“This is the first of many beers that we hope to release,” he added. “It’s made possible by our new semi-automated Braukon brewing system, which allows us to produce the equivalent of 140,000 pints of beer a week – a 150% increase compared to the facility it replaced.”
