It has been reported that Rectory Foods, a company which supplies poultry and other ingredients to food manufacturers, has been placed in administration.
In August last year Rectory (based in Manchester, UK) launched a new standalone division to supply ingredients like frozen fruit and vegetables, seeds and pulses and dehydrated items to manufacturers, processors, food service and retail customers, with hopes to achieve sales of more than £5m in its first full year of trading.
According to the reports, it received a £2.3m cash injection from NatWest to support its plans.
