Blavod launched RedLeg in May 2012 after reports from Nielsen showed golden rum was one of the fastest growing spirit categories.
Marketing manager Kate Alexander said: “Our consumers love the well balanced flavour of RedLeg. We’re thrilled with the growth of the brand so far. Gaining access into the Australian market is the start of our journey to make RedLeg available internationally.”
RedLeg is available in independent retailers and selected pubs and bars. Australian’s can also purchase the rum after Woolworths Australia selected RedLeg to be listed in all Dan Murphy stores and 450 BWS Woolworths stores across the country.
