For existing customers, the range of kits enable them to ‘ReFit’ their installed packaging lines and, in so doing, ‘ReShape’ their future business by easily changing from their current package to another package shape. For new customers, the programme offers cost savings, allowing them to adapt to changing consumers and market demand without having to invest in a new line.
This increases speed to market launch, so manufacturers can launch new products faster. With the ReFit programme, manufacturers can get a new product to market approximately three months faster than getting production started on a completely new line. Likewise, the downtime for mechanical completion and commissioning is approximately eight days, meaning savings of 80% compared to a new line installation time. As for introducing a new package shape into an existing production line, the average installation time is around one week, depending on the line and the update needed.
