Robert Wiseman Dairies adds to operational board

Patrick Davenport and Neil Hughes are taking up the newly created roles of trading director and engineering director respectively, while Julian Bell takes up the role of HR director vacated by Ian McLean who retired last year.

With 12 years’ service to Wiseman, Davenport moves into his new role, which will see him transfer from the Milk Procurement team to a newly created Trading Department, with responsibility for balancing milk supply contracts and the trading of bulk cream and reclaim milk.

New engineering director Neil Hughes has been with the company for nine years and most recently filled the role of group technical manager, which included overall project management for the commissioning of Bridgwater Dairy.

Julian Bell has been with the company for almost two years and brings a wealth of HR experience having previously worked in senior positions for Mars and Diageo.
