Efusjon Raw is an energy drink available now with acai berry. There are plans for Efusjon Dawn (with quercetin), Efusjon Edge (with acai berry and caffeine) and Efusjon Breeze (with mangosteen).
Efusjon relies on social network marketing, using the internet and person-to-person publicity. As the site questions: ‘How many times have you recommended a movie to a friend, and they watched it? Were you paid for that referral? No!’
Here, they promise to pay you for all referrals via a pyramid selling scheme, where you recommend three people who will buy a case of Efusjon on a regular basis.
Efusjon is partnered with Facebook, and suggests that as Facebook has more than 200 million users, all these will have an Efusjon icon on their desktop. Apparently, by joining the club through a friend’s list, you’ll be able to send a special link tied in to the online game called ‘Rad’. As your friends play the game and join Efusjon, you get credit for it.
The comany’s tagline is: ‘Can you imagine the power of 200 million eyeballs?’.
Take a look at the site and see what you think. Like most pyramid selling, it looks like those that get in early may do well, but for others it’s likely to leave a bad taste in the mouth. It’s worth being aware of what’s going on out there in ‘networld’.
To most of us who have seen pyramid selling before, we’re aware of the pitfalls and how many friends you could lose in the process. But the lure of the online game and the good name of Facebook may be enough to make this a global drink. We’ll watch and see.
