This premium medium-light roast coffee, grown in volcanic soil, is available for a limited time. La Divina Providencia is available in all Good Earth coffeehouses brewed by the cup, by French press, and in whole bean by the bag.
Farmed on the side of a volcano, this La Divina Providencia Estate coffee has tangerine and honey aromas, with flavours of bright tangerine and chocolate, a pleasant acidity and a soft floral finish. The Bourbon and Margoype varietals in Roberto’s coffee are grown at 1500m to 1800m in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain Range of El Salvador.
Coffees from El Salvador have mostly been used for blending due to their sweetness, gentle acidity, and balance. Although El Salvador produces excellent coffees, political instability has prevented a consistent supply. Recently, El Salvador has been gaining in recognition for its premium single origin coffees. This 19 hectare farm was acquired in the year 2002 by Roberto Ulloa who has worked his land with great skill.
