UK-based Shepherds Purse of North Yorkshire has secured listings for Harrogate Blue and Bluemin White with Sainsbury’s. The new cheeses will join Yorkshire Blue on the deli counter.
Harrogate Blue is the latest innovation to come from Shepherds Purse. This premium, golden-bodied, delicate blue-veined cheese made with Yorkshire cow’s milk will be available in 57 Sainsbury stores across the UK.
Harrogate Blue was launched in June this year and has picked up two gold medals at the Global Cheese Awards, including 'Best New Dairy Product' and 'Best Soft Blue Cheese'.
Bluemin White will be available on 41 Sainsbury’s deli counters. This Nantwich International Cheese award gold medal winner is a blue mould, ripened mini whole cheese. It softens as it matures to deliver a creamy, smooth taste.
All products will be making their debut in redesigned packaging featuring the new Shepherds Purse branding, which is being rolled out across the whole range over the next 6-9 months.
