Positioned as a non-alcoholic alternative to wine, it’s the first label update in 10 years for the apple juice range. Once final designs were created, James White used its social media platforms to ask consumers to choose their favourite design, with 64% preferring the winning design (above).
The Classics range, comprising five varieties – Bramley, Cox, Russet, Apple & Elderflower and Apple & Summer Berries – features an illustrative design of an apple in a wine glass, reinforcing the message that the juices are ‘a sophisticated and grown-up, non-alcoholic alternative to wine’.
The range, available in 75cl and 25cl glass bottles, is stocked in many independent UK retailers and caterers.
“What makes our Classics range special is that they are clear filtered as well as being freshly pressed and English,” said MD Lawrence Mallinson. “The new designs with a wine glass reinforce the Classics range as the ideal non-alcoholic alternative to wine. It helped enormously to get such enthusiastic feedback from our internet voters, who definitely helped us make the final design choice.”
