SodaStream has launched “its most advanced” range of flavour mixes for water, designed to give consumers greater choice and make the water that they drink more exciting.
The company’s new Waters range is available in two lines of natural fruit flavours; Waters Fruits contains ten refreshing varieties including lemonade, pink grapefruit, elderflower and kiwi-pear. Waters Zero provides five additional sugar-free flavours including pineapple-grapefruit, cranberry-raspberry and orange-mango, and uses the natural sweetener stevia.
The mixes are available in 440ml bottles with a recommended retail price of £3.99, and will be launched in supermarket chains Asda and Sainsbury’s alongside various homeware stores.
The new range is part of a wholesale flavours revamp for the brand which sees existing flavour classics reformulated for a new and improved taste. The product developments will allow consumers to add extra excitement to their SodaStream home carbonators, as research showed that users drank an average of 1 litre of water more per day than consumers who did not own a SodaStream machine.
SodaStream UK managing director Fiona Hope said: “Our aim has always been to revolutionise the beverage industry. We know that consumers are more aware of the dangers of sugary drinks. SodaStream offers a fun and sustainable way to enjoy healthier beverages by making water exciting and now we are taking this a step further with our new Waters range. Taste was of course paramount and with some careful developments we are really excited to be able to offer a wide range of healthier options and new ways to enjoy sparkling water.”
