Success for Emmi at the International Cheese Awards

Emmi took home three gold and two silver titles at the International Cheese Awards (ICA), which took place at The Nantwich Show on 25 July, Dorfold Park, Nantwich (UK).

Judged by a panel of industry experts, the awards attract over 3,700 competitive entries from around the world in 260 categories.

Emmi entered a total of 16 cheeses across a selection of categories which included; Specialty, Continental Cheese, Convenience Cheese and Organic Dairy.

  • In the Continental Cheese class, Emmi was awarded both a gold and silver in the Best Swiss Cheese category for their Le Gruyere (Meziere dairy) and Le Gruyere (Le Mouret dairy).
  • Emmi’s Bio Le Gruyere took the gold title for Best Organic Cheese in the Organic Dairy class, along with the top title in The Convenience Cheese class, Sliced cheese division with Tete de Moine Rosettes.
  • Emmi’s Le Gourmet Swiss claimed the silver in the Vegetarian class, single Vegetarian Cheeses category.
