The product is Suntory’s first soft drink ever to be sold in the Australian market.
OVI has been developed as a new value-added beverage containing green tea which SBF developed jointly with the Frucor Group for the growing Australian hydration drink market.
Carbonated drinks and beverages containing fruit juice account for almost 70% of Australia’s soft drink market. The market has been seeing demand for low-sugar, low-calorie soft drink products pick up pace in step with increasing consumer health awareness.
Working against this backdrop, SBF has harnessed the Suntory Group’s expertise to develop a ‘great-tasting hydration beverage containing an antioxidant’ (sourced from green tea).
