The crisps are produced in the UK from the farm’s sweet potatoes and are available in bags of 40g or 100g for sharing. They are sliced and hand-cooked in sunflower oil with a pinch of sea salt and are gluten-free and suitable for vegetarians.
“We tested Scott Farms Sweet Potato Chips at a number of foodie events during 2013 and were overcome by the enthusiasm of consumers,” said Stan Smith, CEO of Scott Farms. “We even won ‘best new product’ at the prestigious Autumn Ludlow Food Festival. Sales were staggering at many of the events, so, after some packaging changes, we made the decision to launch to the trade this spring.”
The 40g bags come in boxes of 24 and the 100g bags in boxes of 12.
