Scottish lager brand Tennent’s has drawn inspiration from old pack designs for its newly launched ‘heritage pack’.
The limited-edition pack and bottle designs are based on a variety of artefacts from the brand’s 130-year history, including the first ever Tennent’s lager can and branding from various markets including China.
The heritage pack is available in stores across Scotland now, and is the brand’s fifth limited-edition run in recent months. They included a promotion and themed pack to celebrate Valentine’s Day last year.
The Heritage Pack is the fifth limited editor run the brewer has released in recent months and follows on from its Retro, Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day and Scotland National Team bottle packs.
Tennent’s head of UK brand marketing Alan McGarrie said: “Tennent’s as a brand is renowned for having some of the most iconic packaging designs Scotland has produced so we were spoilt for choice when it came to finding inspiration for our heritage pack.
“We had a look at everything from bottles, cans, labels, posters to beer mats and even old trucks when looking for inspiration for the pack, and we’re really pleased with how they’ve turned out. It just shows that good design work can really stand the test of time.”
The Tennent’s heritage pack is available in six- and 12-packs of 330ml bottles.
The packs are available in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Iceland and Aldi stores across Scotland.
