Tesco donates to Turkish earthquake appeal

Following the tragic earthquake in Turkey, the Tesco Charity Trust has donated £25,000 to the humanitarian efforts, through its disaster relief partnership with the British Red Cross.

The money will be used by the Turkish Red Crescent to help survivors.

Lucy Neville-Rolfe, executive director of corporate and legal affairs, said: "Our thoughts are with those affected by this devastating earthquake.

"In addition to donating to the British Red Cross appeal, Tesco Kipa in Turkey has mobilised staff and stores to help with fundraising and donations to the Turkish Red Crescent. "
