The listing was celebrated by St Peter's Brewery CEO Steve Magnall.
British retailer The Co-Operative has boosted its alcohol-free offering with the addition of St Peter’s Without – an independent alcohol-free beer that will help it to meet consumer demand for alcohol alternatives.
Brewed in Suffolk by St Peter’s Brewery, the newly listed beer is packaged in 500ml bottles and is already sold through retailers like Whole Foods Market, Nisa and in Mitchell & Butler pubs. It has a recommended retail price of £1.49 per bottle.
The craft brewer has just signed a lucrative deal which will see its beer stocked in almost 100 East of England Co-Operatives stores.
St Peter’s Brewery CEO Steve Magnall said: “Times are changing in the UK drinks market. Since launching Without last summer we’ve noticed a huge growth in demand for alcohol-free drinks in general. People want a high quality alternative and Without fits the bill. Without is now the UK’s number one alcohol-free craft beer and we expect interest to continue to grow and for more retailers to increase their alcohol-free offerings.”
The deal with the East of England Co-Op strengthens the brand’s position in the market and will allow St Peter’s to target a greater number of potential customers, it said.
