The PET family gathers in Munich in September

Bill Bruce17 Mar 2009

The PET highlight of 2009 will be the PETpoint exhibition, to be held in Munich from 1419 September under the umbrella of Drinktec 2009.

Although the Drinktec and PETpoint events are still some months away, the level of interest from companies planning to participate is high, and 93% of the exhibition space has already been booked.

The PETpoint section of Drinktec is located in Hall B3, where all of the leading PET industry suppliers will be located. The exceptions are the big groups with ranges that also cover cans and bottles. KHS, for instance, together with its new Corpoplast acquisition, will be in B4. Krones will include its PET equipment with the rest of its range in B6, and in A6 you’ll find Sidel, including the former Simonazzi range. In other halls, you’ll find our PET friends from Italy, such as Sacmi, Sipa or Lanfranchi.

Make sure you don’t miss the PET World Congress or the 2009 Beverage Innovation Awards. These events take place during the PETpoint Drinktec, and this year the congress will include the exciting new areas of health and beauty care packaging and edible oil.

The PET World Congress – from pellet to pallet

Visitors can learn about the latest developments in the PET market on the exhibition stands, as well as at the PET World Congress on 1617 September. All of the well-known manufacturers will be there to talk about their new developments.
