Artisan food brand Tideford Organics has unveiled two new organic soups made from superfood ingredients.
They include an Asian take on a classic soup flavour, as well as a typical Andalusian dish which can be enjoyed hot or cold.
The new flavour combinations – summer pea, coconut and turmeric soup along with gazpacho Andaluz with cucumber and red pepper – are ‘ideal for the summer season’, Tideford said, and will be available across the UK from this month.
The products follow a relaunch in 2016, which positioned Tideford as the first dedicated organic vegan brand in the UK.
Tideford Organics managing director Lynette Sinclair said: “As a dedicated ethical and organic producer, the move to vegan was the obvious next step. The evidence of the impact we could make by removing meat and dairy from our recipes, both nutritionally and environmentally, was too compelling to ignore and we wanted to do our bit to help.”
As well as being dairy-free and vegan, the soups are low in fat and have no added sugar.
They will be available through online supermarket Ocado, as well as independents across the UK, with a retail price of £2.99 for a 600g tub.
