Oregon dairy cooperative Tillamook has unveiled a new farm-style whole milk Greek yogurt, available in six flavours.
The whole milk line incorporates buttermilk cultures for a creamier, less tart taste. It will be available in six ‘rich’ flavours: blackberry, strawberry-blackcurrant, vanilla, raspberry-fig, clover-honey, and lemon-pear.
The new line will be available with a suggested retail price of $1.39 for a 5.3oz single-serve pot, and can be found at major retailers throughout the western states.
Tillamook has also revamped its Good & Creamy low-fat yogurt in response to consumer requests for a lower-in-sugar option. The new recipe features 4% milkfat, 25% less sugar than the previous recipe, and 9g of protein – 2g more than before.
In addition to the 14 existing flavours, Tillamook has added two new Good & Creamy flavour offerings – Oregon Hood River pear and maple-vanilla.
They retail will retail with a suggested price of $0.79 for a 6oz cup.
Tillamook category manager Lara Gish said: “As a farmer-led company, we believe people should feel connected to the food they eat, understand where it comes from and be proud to share that food with their families. That’s why we always look for ways to improve our offerings and never stop pushing to make the very best dairy products. With our two new product lines, we’re pleased to bring simple and delicious real food options to market.”
