This move will enable the company to offer its customers a wider range of environmental services in the areas of energy, water, waste and recycling.
While the name change reflects the closer integration of the group, the business will continue to provide customers with its expertise in developing, constructing and operating greener and more economical energy solutions with the added benefit of incorporating the knowledge and expertise from the other areas of the business.
Veolia will continue to support the sustainable operation of plants across the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. This lowers the carbon footprint the production of 1.44 billion cans of food per year, 720 million litres of spirits and beer and 240,000 cars per year.

Pat Gilroy will head up the new team as chief operating officer Industrial Customers UK and country head Ireland.
