Independent tea company We Are Tea has launched a brand new range of functional “super teas” in partnership with nutritionist Amanda Hamilton.
The range, named Everyday Good, is the first to be backed and developed by a nutritionist, We Are Tea claimed. It includes three variants – glow, soothe and svelte – and will go on sale across more than 250 UK outlets of supermarket Sainsbury’s from the end of July.
The packs, which include 12 whole leaf tea bags, have been designed to bring to life the ingredients and health benefits of each blend, and feature on pack endorsements from Hamilton.
Each of the three teas has been designed to meet a different need state, from skin radiance to aiding digestion. Glow features red berries, calendula and a traditional blend of herbs and has been designed to bring sparkle back to skin. The tea is packed with antioxidants and active ingredients to maintain skin health.
Soothe contains fennel and mint for a calming digestive tea and a perfect accompaniment to any meal. Warming and soothing, it aids digestion and eases bloating, We Are Tea said. The svelte variety, meanwhile, features yerba maté and ginger and is designed to invigorate the system. Natural seagreens help to balance the metabolism and yerba maté provides focus, the London-based artisan producer added.

It’s been tried and tested over the past year with incredibly positive feedback so we are confident we’ve created something that really hits the sweet spot.”
