Xyience enters agreement with distributor and design house
Xyience, maker of Xenergy, the energy drink of the UFC, has signed a distribution agreement with Eastside to be the exclusive distributor and design house for Xyience apparel in Canada.
Eastside is based in Montréal, Quebec, and currently distributes brands such as Rocawear, Flexfit and Mitchell & Ness.
The Xyience apparel line will be available at retailers across Canada in the spring of 2012. This is the first time that Xyience is selling apparel in Canada and the first time Xyience apparel will be available in stores. Currently, apparel sold in the US is only available for purchase on the Xyience website.
Gus Prokos, Xyience’s vice president of sales for Canada, said: “We are very pleased and enthusiastic about our relationship with Eastside. The team at Eastside are experts in the apparel business and the company has a great track record in building brand awareness. Our relationship with Eastside will prove to be a great benefit for our retail partners across Canada.”
New designs created by Eastside are exclusive to retail stores across Canada but they will not be available on the Xyience website. Currently the spring collection includes T-shirts, baseball caps, hoodies, beanies and long-sleeve shirts. Outerwear and performance wear will be available in the fall and winter seasons.
