Yotoco has launched a new range of natural, sustainably produced beverages made from innovative ingredients, including various superfoods.
The range is available in three variants: Yotoco Moma, a refreshing panela thirst quencher with an exotic guava-lime flavour; Yotoco Cosmos, a wellness beverage rich in antioxidants from panela, açaí and hibiscus; and Yotoco Kuka for a revitalising energy lift with panela, pitahaya, guayusa and borojó.
The company has said that it is “direclty involved with the whole value chain”, with ingredients from the Colombian rainforest being cultivated by small-scale producers. The GMO-free and vegan-friendly drinks have been launched in the Swiss-German market, developed and bottled in Switzerland.
The drinks contain a variety of beneficial nutrients – including vitamins A, B, C, D and E, and minerals such as calcium, chloride, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, copper and zinc. All three rely on panela, pure and natural dried sugarcane juice that, as well as being rich in vitamins and minerals, is also high in amino acids, protein and antioxidants.
As well as the three liquid variants, a powdered instant beverage product to be prepared in water or milk is also under development.
A brand spokesperson said: “All of the Yotoco products are made with the finest natural ingredients. Panela, the natural nutritional sweetener with positive nutritional and health benefits, is the basis of all our beverages and is combined with different superfruit extracts such as açaí, borojó and guayusa and flavoured with natural pitahaya, guava-lime or natural hibiscus.
“Yotoco ingredients are considered superfruits and superfoods, functional foods that have a positive impact on the human body to help keep the body healthy when consumed.”
