US beverage and snack manufacturer Zola has revealed plans to launch a new chocolate-flavoured coconut water and açaí with mango and chia juice.
The two new products, developed in response to emerging consumer trends, will help to expand the Zola Fruits of the World brand platform that has extended across multiple product categories since its inception.
They will be joined by the announcement of new distribution, as well as an expansion to its team, as the California-based company continues to drive sales and broaden its distribution footprint.
Zola founder and CEO Chris Cuvelier said: “We are excited to launch Zola’s new chocolate coconut water. The delicious taste is a satisfying treat that delivers the hydrating benefits of coconut water with only 11g of sugar and just 50 calories per serving.”
Zola coconut water with chocolate will initially be available in 17.5oz cans, and will be launched at Natural Products Expo West in March.
“We have been watching the growth of the chia category and believe chia blended with açaí creates a nutritional powerhouse,” Cuvelier continued. “The tropical flavour profile of mango and the addition of organic ground chia is a direct response to consumer and retailer demand for more delicious chia products in a rapidly expanding category.”
