Coke’s pop-up store rewards recycling

Bill Bruce27 Apr 2011

Between Christmas and the new year, I wrote about my favourite activation of 2010 on FoodBev.com.

It was the ‘Coca-Cola Zero-Zone’, built as a floating island in the middle of the Red Sea by Coca-Cola in Israel. The creatives there have been at it again and this time creating a ‘pop-up store’ with goods made from recycled containers.

See for youself …

The pop-up stored opened in Tel Aviv during the Passover holiday and offers the huge ‘Coca-Cola Recycled Collection’ that includes clothing, accessories and even furniture created from recycled materials.

Consumers exchange an empty Coca-Cola package (plus some money) to obtain the goods on sale. Truly rewarding recycling.
