Jones Soda adds seasonal packs and Zilch

Claire Phoenix17 Oct 2009

US-based Jones Soda has launched Zilch for the calorie-conscious consumer. Special Halloween cans and seasonal Christmas boxes round out the latest eye-catching packs.

According to Wikipedia, Zilch is a slang word with origins from the US that’s defined as having a value of zero or nothing. Making it an obvious choice for a no calorie drink, now Jones has suggested it.

Zac Carr of Jones Soda sent through the pics and we learned that the full details of Zilch will be given next week, but we couldn’t wait that long to let you know.

So, in the meantime, Zilch may refer to:

  • Zile, a city in eastern Turkey
  • Zilch (band), a Japanese American musical group
  • Zilch was a mod clothing shop in New York City owned by Monkee Davy Jones in the late 60s
  • Zilch was a song (actually, a chant) by the Monkees on their Headquarters album
  • Zilch, a name for the dice game Dice 10000
  • Zilch, is the title of an award-winning short film released in 2002. It was directed by Mickey Strider and written by Brian Fox.
