The ‘Pure’ UV sterilisation water bottle
A UV sterilisation water bottle is listed as being in the running for a James Dyson Award in the UK.
A colleague sent me the page that contains details and images of this wonderful concept, called Pure.
This is something actually quite remarkable, in that it’s a leap forward in the possibilities of providing clean, safe drinking water for the millions of people who struggle to find it, and in a handy bottle format.
Here’s hoping the bottle wins the award on 24 August and is handed out freely to those in dire need.
