The world economy at a glance

'The Economist' magazine seems to have stopped publishing its excellent occasional chart showing the state of the world economy in a single line, but I found a similar longer term view in 'The Sunday Times' on 29 July.

I'm an optimist who has become more of a pessimist about our overall economic prospects, but this forecast shows a remarkably resilient outlook up to 2014.

Europe may well be double dipping, but fortunately not the rest of the world according to this analysis.
