From 21 to 25 October 2018, at Paris-Nord Villepinte, SIAL Paris opens its doors to 7,200 exhibitors from 109 countries and 160,000 professional visitors from all over the world.
On the menu, there will be SIAL Innovation of course! In 2016, the Grand Jury of this worldwide recognised competition bestowed 15 Grand Prix awards on the cream of the 2,188 products presented. The UK’s ice cream industry is gearing up for the annual Ice Cream and Gelato Expo, organised by the industry’s trade association – the Ice Cream Alliance (ICA).
It is the UK’s only ice cream trade show and is free to attend for everyone in the business – or anyone thinking of setting up manufacturing or selling ice cream.
Zenith Global’s annual soft drinks conference, in association with the British Soft Drinks Association brings together senior industry managers, innovators, retailers, suppliers, opinion formers and advisers to provide the fullest possible one day overview of the latest developments, issues and opportunities.
With the theme for 2019 is ‘Crafting the future’, there will be a special emphasis on innovative adult drinks without alcohol, alongside debate about the two key issues of plastic and health. The event will be opened by Tim Warrillow, Chief Executive Officer of Fever-Tree and includes other key craft innovators Ceder’s, The Duchess and Seedlip as well as newcomers with entries in cannabidiol, cold brew coffee and kombucha.
The major players will also be strongly represented, including the UK Managing Directors of Britvic, Innocent and Coca-Cola European Partners.
Two key sessions in the day will be Sorting Plastic and Solving Health. One year on from the launch of the UK Soft Drinks Industry Levy, Professor Jack Winkler will speak about the latest science and guidance on balancing action on sugar, sweeteners and sweetness.
The day will conclude with the 2019 InnoBev Awards to celebrate the best in global beverage innovation across 18 categories of products, marketing and sustainability. Other highlights include an Innovator Marketplace where brands can showcase their latest drinks and gain valuable feedback from industry experts and peers.
