The International Scientific Conference on Probiotics and Prebiotics – IPC2015 will take place during the 23rd – 25th June 2015 in Budapest Marriot Hotel, Hungary. IPC2015 is the event of the successful conference series focusing on probiotics in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. The scientific programme is focused on current advances in the research, production and use of probiotics and prebiotics with particular focus on their role in maintaining health and preventing diseases.
It is a goal of conference to provide a scientific forum for all stakeholders of probiotics and prebiotics and to enable the interactive exchange of state-of-the-art knowledge. The conference is focused on evidence-based benefits, health claims proven in scientific experiments and clinical trials.
New scientific evidences that support or question the efficiency of already existing or prospective substances and applications will be conferred. In addition novel strains, controversial but scientifically solid ideas, approaches and visions will be presented as well.
Further to its scientific content, IPC2015 is a networking event. It is a unique opportunity to meet all the stakeholders of probiotics and prebiotics.

The aim of the Sustainable Foods Summit is to explore new horizons for eco-labels and sustainability in the food industry by discussing key industry issues. How do organic, Fairtrade and other eco-labeling schemes further sustainability? With growing proliferation in labels, what are the prospects for a single sustainability standard for food products? What are the practical application of sustainability metrics? What advances are occurring in sustainable ingredients? What developments are happening in formulation, production and marketing of sustainable food and beverages? Such questions are regularly addressed at this international series of summits.
Since 2009, the Sustainable Foods Summit has been covering major developments in the food industry concerning sustainability and and eco-labels, such as organic, Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance. In 2017, the European edition will be hosted in Amsterdam on 1-2nd June, the Latin American edition will be hosted in São Paulo on 18-19th September, whilst the first Asia-Pacific edition will be hosted in Singapore on 29-30th November. The next North American edition will take place in San Francisco in January 2018. Each edition will bring together some of the most influential organisations involved in sustainability and eco-labels in the food industry.
The 11th European edition of the Sustainable Foods Summit will showcase developments in food ingredients, new technologies, and green packaging. For the first time, the executive summit will look at the disruptive influence of new technologies on food production and marketing.
How are new technologies providing greater traceability in supply chains? What developments occurring in digital marketing and mobile apps? With plastic pollution a major concern for food & beverage firms, an update will be given on sustainable packaging options. What are the alternatives to plastic packaging?
