A line-up of top-notch innovative technologies, most of them world firsts, will be selected by an expert jury. The contenders compete for the overall title, and the winner will be revealed during the opening ceremony of the Amsterdam International Water Week and the Aquatech Amsterdam exhibition on 4 November.

Launching the Aquatech Innovation Forum
Taking place on Monday November 4, ahead of the well-established Aquatech Amsterdam exhibition, the tagline for the Innovation Forum is: Mastering Water’s Digital Transformation. The ambition is to showcase examples of digitalisation in the global water market and create a platform where the entire water cycle can openly share examples. Topics such as artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous water treatment, solution interoperability, and smart cities and the role of Water 4.0 will be discussed throughout the day.

Water utilities confirmed to speak include: Aarhus Vand; Anglian Water; Emschergenossenschaft; Gothenborg City; Washington Suburban Sanitary Comission; Vitens and Coliban Water.

The trade show takes place on 5-6-7-8 November 2019 and will attract some 1,000 exhibitors and over 25,000 international visitors. Aquatech Amsterdam is part of the Amsterdam International Water Week.
