127 employees to leave Heineken as part of a restructuring plan

127 employees to leave Heineken as part of a restructuring plan

Heineken Spain and trade unions have agreed upon a restructuring plan which will see 127 employees leaving the company.

The company claims the restructuring is due to organisational issues and hopes it will optimise its platform to better respond and adapt to consumer needs.

Heineken released the following statement: “As formalised in the agreement, 127 employees across all areas of the organisation will leave the company. Following our principles of well-being and concern for our teams, these will be executed mostly through early retirements." It continued: "The negotiating parties have faced this process with the utmost respect for our people, the seriousness and responsibility that characterise us, and with a spirit of dialogue and constructiveness for the greatest benefit of all". This plan has been ratified by more than 85% of the company's employees.
