It’s been a busy year for the FoodBev team from discovering the latest innovations to covering shows across the globe and along the way we’ve spoken to all sorts of interesting characters and companies from major household names to start-ups with grand ideas of being the next big thing.
Here’s a collection of some of our favourite video interviews from the past year.
In February, the FoodBev team descended on Gulfood finished products 2015 in Dubai and Bill Bruce interviewed with Lemonaid Beverages founder Paul Bethke about his start-up company from Hamburg, Germany, which supports initiatives that try and improve the lives of people in disadvantaged global economies.
At the International Food & Drink event 2015 held in March, Jessica Gay spoke to Bert Jukes from Little Big Shot about the company’s big branding ideas.
Full of vitamins and minerals which come from the deep ocean, extracted from the bottom of the sea in Taiwan and added to the drink, it gives consumers the minerals that the body needs 72 trace elements.
Marco Joosten of Sana hemp juice spoke about about their hemp juice product and if this could be the new coconut water.

Roger Bate’s of The Little Coffee Bag Co about how the idea came about and where you can find the product.
The Shropshire-based company creates cafetière-style coffee for one, with its luxurious individually wrapped bags filled with premium coffee. According to founder Carrie Bate, it’s a ‘fuss-free way to make real coffee without the usual trouble and the mess left afterwards’. Four blends and single origin varieties are available in boxes of 20 sachets.
Broderick’s managing director Johnny Broderick talked about making vending as easy as possible for the consumer, keeping machines up to date and Broderick’s own media company MediaVend.
Established 45 years ago, UK-based Broderick’s provides refreshment services for business and public locations, specialising in supplying high-tech vending services.
From Berlin, Germany Kaffeenade and is new beverage mixing coffee and lemonade.
The beverage uses the outer shells of coffee bean’s called the silver skins which become detached from the bean just before the end of the roasting process.
At Anuga 2015, Claire Phoenix spoke with Wayne Lutomski of Welch’s showcase their range of juices in Cologne, Germany.
Caroline Lund from German tea brand Just t spoke about the company deciding to go through a rebranding process which involved moving to a more contemporary design and incorporating numbers to distinguish each product in their range.
In November, Bill Bruce talked to Crown Bevcan Europe & Middle East marketing & business development director Matt Twiss about the CrownSmart interactive can innovation.
